KENNER, La. (AP) - Kenner police arrested an alleged auto thief following a high speed chase on Interstate 10
Sgt. Brian McGregor says officers spotted a car that had been reported stolen Thursday morning and the suspect fled on I-10 westbound.
McGregor says the chase ended near LaPlace when 22-year-old Antoine Reid ran the car off the interstate.
State Trooper Melissa Matey said Reid suffered minor injuries in the accident. He was taken to a Kenner hospital for treatment.
Police say no officers were injured in the chase.
