Death of woman in Everett called suspicious

EVERETT, Wash. (AP) - Everett police say they found a woman dead in an apartment when they responded to a 911 call about a front door standing open.

Sgt. Ryan Dalberg says the death of the woman found Friday afternoon is being classified as suspicious.

Police obtained a search warrant for the residence.

Dalberg says the Snohomish County medical examiner’s office will release the woman’s name, age and manner of death.

Police did not release any other details.
