HONOLULU (AP) - Honolulu authorities say the decomposed body of a 48-year-old man has been found on a hillside near the top of Wilhelmina Rise.
The Honolulu Star-Advertiser (https://is.gd/6AGgMN) says the body was found Wednesday morning.
Fire Capt. Terry Seelig says the body was found by a man who was flying a radio-controlled helicopter in his backyard at Kawelolani Place.
When the man went to retrieve the helicopter, he smelled an odor, found the body and called 911.
The body has been recovered and taken to the medical examiner’s office.
