JENNINGS, La. (AP) - The shooting of a Jennings man found dead in his front yard in January has been ruled accidental.

The death was initially investigated as a homicide, but Police Chief Todd D’Albor told the American Press (https://bit.ly/1eOXZNb ) that forensic and ballistics evidence, along with the autopsy report, confirmed that the shooting death of 50-year-old Kenneth Morrow Sr. was an accident.

Police believe Morrow may have been sitting on the front porch of his home with a loaded .357 revolver either in his rear pocket or waistband when it accidentally discharged.
