SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. (AP) - The manager of a Domino’s pizza has been shot to death at the restaurant and San Bernardino police have arrested her former boyfriend.
Police say 55-year-old Pedro Duquesne (Doo-KAYN’) of Highland was taken into custody hours after the Wednesday morning attack.
Police believe Duquesne went to the shop at around 11:30 a.m. and argued with 39-year-old Nelly Kantun as she stood alone behind the counter.
Police say Duquesne pulled a gun and shot the woman twice, then again as she ran outside to escape. She collapsed on the sidewalk and died at a hospital.
It was not immediately known whether he’d hired an attorney.
