BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (AP) - Police in Birmingham are investigating the death of a beauty shop owner who was found fatally shot inside her store.
Lt. Sean Edwards tells AL.com a woman was found inside of Ebony Beauty Supply on 27th Street with a gunshot wound to her chest. She was pronounced dead on the scene and the incident is being investigated as a homicide.
Authorities say a customer saw the owner’s car outside Saturday morning and noticed that the store was closed when it should have been open.
