D’IBERVILLE, Miss. (AP) - Police in D’Iberville (dee-EYE-ber-vil) are investigating the death of a man whose body was found near a road.
Capt. Clay Jones tells The Sun-Herald (https://bit.ly/RYLPMd ) that someone called with a report that a man had passed out at 5th Avenue and North Shore Drive.
He says the man was dead when officers arrived shortly before 3 a.m. Sunday.

The man’s name is being withheld until his family can be notified.
He’s described as in his late 20s to early 30s.
Jones says the death is being investigated as a homicide. He says an autopsy is pending.
