Lt. Col. Andrew Wood, who led a U.S. security assessment team in Libya in 2012, said he takes little satisfaction in having been right. "The gulf between the real world, when you are working in the danger zone, and what goes on D.C. is insane," he said in an interview Monday with the Times. "They don't listen to people on the ground.
