Two days after a U.S. district judge ruled voters can wear World Wrestling Entertainment apparel sporting the wrestling organization’s logo to voting stations Tuesday, the Connecticut Secretary of State who initially tried banning such clothing has gotten some of her own.
The Hartford Courant’s Rick Green reported Friday that WWE Chairman and CEO Vince McMahon mailed Secretary of State Susan Bysiewicz a collection of WWE merchandise following Wednesday’s ruling. McMahon’s wife Linda is the state’s Republican Senate candidate running against Democrat Richard Blumenthal.
The Courant has a photo of Mr. McMahon’s mailing here.
