During his fact finding mission to Gaza this week former president Jimmy Carter stated that “the citizens of Gaza are treated more like animals than human beings.” But Gaza citizen Majid Athamna thought Mr. Carter was one of the main offenders. Referring to the official sightseeing motorcade that stopped briefly in his neighborhood, Athamna said “They all come here and look at us like we’re animals and then they go home,” he said. “We’re not animals, we’re human beings.” Shades of the Elephant Man. Please stop gawking Mr. Carter, it’s not presidental.
