Despite the swirling speculation nationwide that presumptive Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney could announce his choice for a running mate this week, his wife, Ann Romney, says her husband is still mulling it over.
“We’re not quite there yet,” Mrs. Romney told ABC’s Robin Roberts when asked about all the recent speculation and interest in the veepstakes during an exclusive interview to air Thursday on “Good Morning America.”
“We are certainly talking a lot. This last week, this last weekend, there was a lot of discussion,” Mrs. Romney said. “There was a lot of talk. We’re not quite there yet. And we’re going to be there soon.”
