Supermodel Gisele Bundchen ended her marriage to Tom Brady in 2022 with just three words, according to a new biography about the retired NFL quarterback, InStyle magazine reports.
In “Brady: An American Story and the Price of Greatness” (Celadon Books), former Sports Illustrated writer Lars Anderson says a source close to Mr. Brady said Ms. Bundchen, who is “really into astrology,” told him “We’re not compatible” before ending their relationship.
Mr. Brady and Ms. Bundchen were married for more than a decade, and they share two children.

The biography, out Tuesday, claims that tension in the marriage dated back to at least the 2019 Super Bowl, when Ms. Bundchen asked Mr. Brady, “Would now be the perfect time to retire?” He allegedly responded, “Too bad, babe. I’m having too much fun right now.”
Mr. Anderson also writes that after the New England Patriots’ Super Bowl loss in 2018, Ms. Bundchen sent Mr. Brady a pointed message saying that she needed him to be more present at home, more help with their children and more time for her own career.
A friend of Mr. Brady’s told the author that his demanding career schedule likely contributed to strain within the marriage.
