Universal Pictures announced Tuesday that Christopher Nolan’s feature film adaptation of Homer’s “The Odyssey” will return to IMAX theaters and 70mm screens this month.
Screenings in select IMAX theaters begin Friday.
The epic film, starring Matt Damon, Anne Hathaway and Tom Holland, has grossed $1.76 billion worldwide since its release in July. It topped the $1.67 billion set by “Jurassic World” in 2015 to become Universal’s highest-grossing film — a mark it reached in its ninth weekend in theaters.
