Karoline Leavitt is taking on a new gig at Fox News, just over a month after leaving her post as White House press secretary.

The one-time chief spokesperson for the Trump administration is joining the network in November as an on-air contributor, the network announced Monday.

“Karoline’s firsthand experience in the White House and on the presidential campaign trail gives her a distinct understanding of today’s political landscape,” Fox News Media CEO Suzanne Scott said in a statement.

Ms. Leavitt said she looks forward to bringing “my unique perspective from my experience as White House press secretary, along with the same energy and candor that defined my tenure.”

“I am grateful for the opportunity to continue appearing on Fox News Channel as an official member of the extraordinary team at Fox News Media,” she said.

She left her role as President Trump’s press secretary in August after roughly 20 months on the job, choosing to spend more time with her growing family.

She called her decision to leave “bittersweet,” announcing it just weeks after returning from maternity leave following the birth of her second child.

Ms. Leavitt said the press secretary job was the “honor and adventure of a lifetime.”

In her new role, she will provide commentary across the Fox News network.

She is not the first Trump-aligned spokesperson to join the cable news network.

Kayleigh McEnany, who served as White House press secretary through the end of Mr. Trump’s first term, serves as co-host of Fox News’ “Outnumbered” and host of “Saturday in America.”

Larry Kudlow also served as the director of the National Economic Council under Mr. Trump from 2018 to 2021 and serves as the host of his namesake show on Fox Business Network.

Since leaving the James S. Brady Briefing Room, Ms. Leavitt has not strayed far from the GOP spotlight, returning to Trump-aligned super PAC MAGA Inc., where she was the political fundraiser’s spokesperson before joining the Trump 2024 campaign.
