One of the toughest Bible passages to read is the one where Jesus turns to those who think they’re following Him, and says: I never knew you — depart from me.

That’s an uh-oh moment, if ever there was one, because it makes clear that many Christians who truly believe they’re going to Heaven, may in fact not be going to Heaven.

As Tim Mulgrew, Bible teacher and author of “Christian: A Contract With God,” said, it’s crucial Christians check in with Jesus and make sure to maintain a personal relationship so they can make the necessary adjustments — while they still have time.
