A Montgomery County, Maryland, man suffered non-life-threatening injuries Thursday due to a mishap with his car while trying to jump-start it.

The man, unnamed by authorities, was trying to revive the car’s battery in downtown Silver Spring when it moved and struck him, the Montgomery County Police Department said.

The police did not say if the car moved because of an incline in the road or if the man left the car in the wrong gear.
