Film mogul Tyler Perry has purchased a $30 million mansion in Puerto Rico, according to TMZ.

Mr. Perry, 57, said he found the home while taking a break from show business and considering moving to the U.S. territory and spending more time with his family.

The 14,475-square-foot mansion sits on nearly 1.4 acres of land and has five bedrooms and 10 bathrooms. Other features include a movie theater, pool and gym.

A source told TMZ that Mr. Perry will continue working in Puerto Rico, with plans to open a production facility with intentions to film on the island. He has put his $57 million Beverly Hills mansion up for sale.

“Getting older [inspired the move],” Mr. Perry said in a September interview. “It’s time to slow down a bit, enjoy more time with my son and just take it all in.”

Mr. Perry also owns homes in Atlanta; Jackson Hole, Wyoming; and on an island in the Bahamas.
