Could France ablaze be a harbinger of America’s fate after the Nov. 3 elections?

After three weeks, Paris is still burning. So are Marseille, Lyon, Bordeaux, Nice, Lille and Limoges.

On Saturday, 60,000 riot police and security forces were deployed. Nearly 1,000 of them have been injured, while 2,400 of the mostly peaceful protesters have been arrested, and 3,000 shops have been damaged or looted, resulting in hundreds of millions of dollars in property damage.

At first, we were told that the demonstrators were students who wanted better school conditions. If so, why are the young scholars targeting stores with luxury brands such as Gucci, Rolex, Ralph Lauren and Louis Vuitton?

In fact, the majority of groups involved in the riots are adult organizations. Are the communist and Palestinian flags being carried by rioters symbols of excellence in education?

Across France, synagogues and Jewish-owned stores are targeted while mosques and Arab shops are exempt from attack. Is the country’s Jewish community standing in the way of quality education?

French Prime Minister Sebastien Lecornu blames the far left, which he says is fomenting the violence as a lead-up to next year’s presidential election.

President Trump also blames France’s open borders for the chaos. He has warned that if nothing changes, Paris will soon be a Muslim city.

The connection between the U.S. and France goes back to the American Revolution. We were allies in two world wars and remain allied through NATO.

Americans should be concerned about the chaos engulfing France for another reason. Fires have a way of spreading.

All the elements are in place for the same reign of terror in the United States — funding from the likes of George Soros and Neville Roy Singham — the multimillionaire expatriate living in China — and the storm troopers of antifa, the Democratic Socialists of America and the Muslim Brotherhood.

The George Floyd riots and agitation against U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement were dress rehearsals.

If Republicans keep Congress in the Nov. 3 elections, the left will be tempted to lash out in rage and frustration and keep the nation in chaos as a prelude to the 2028 presidential election.

The Democrats claim our president is a tyrant. That is the point of their “No Kings” rallies.

Perhaps they fancy themselves Jacobins preparing to storm the Bastille.

If we wait, it may be too late. Now is the time to prepare for the coming storm.
