The headline earlier this month in Fortune read, “Billionaire George Soros has donated $102 million ahead of the midterms — and now the Democrats are coming out ahead.”

He’s at it again.

The billionaire who’s never met an open border he didn’t want to open wider has reportedly dropped via his Soros network nearly $103 million into the midterm races, with most-slash-all going toward Democrats-slash-socialists. He rears every election to flood money into races to influence the outcome of political seats that hold zero direct impact on his life.

In other words: He sits within his elite Westchester County, New York, bubble, home to some of the world’s wealthiest, and tosses dollars here, tosses dollars there, to sway election results in places far away from his own. Soros can afford to call for open borders and hire, err, donate money to candidates who support his open border call because he never will feel the impact of an open bordered nation.

If the illegal gangsters flood Westchester County, Soros will simply jump into his limo to drive him to the nearest private airport where he’ll hop aboard his private helicopter or jet and fly to his private [insert name of island or club or castle or mansion here].

It’s easy to hate borders, capitalism, law and order, the Constitution and individual liberty when you live the life of wealth and privilege.

By the time June wrapped, Democracy PAC and Democracy PAC II, two of the Soros network’s political committees, had already donated more than $40 million to Democrat friends, including the Senate Majority PAC — which bills itself as “solely dedicated to building a Democratic majority in the U.S. Senate” — and the House Majority PAC. The Soros network also donated to funds with anti-Israel missions.

Abdul El-Sayed, the Democratic nominee for Michigan’s Senate seat, has been a big recipient of Soros bucks — indirectly, of course, so that he can campaign on a “Get Big Business” and “Get Big Money Out Of Politics” platform. Nonetheless, the Senate Majority PAC took its $9 million from the Soros-funded PAC and pledged $30 million for El-Sayed.

Let’s remember Soros’ true intent.

As Fortune wrote: “The man who broke the Bank of England has a history of backing Democrats, to the point where right-wingers cast [him] in conspiracy theories as a puppet mastermind controlling the party. He’s now pouring millions into getting Democrats elected ahead of the midterms.”

Not a conspiracy theory.

Soros truly works to undercut American Exceptionalism by advancing only those candidates with platforms that align with his judicial reforms, his opening of borders, his skewing of human rights to support criminals and lawbreakers over true victims. Look at how he’s corrupted the local court systems by pouring millions of dollars over the years into district attorney races that used to be low-key affairs, barely registering above a few thousand dollars on the campaign funding scale.

“Over the past decade,” Local Law Enforcement Legal Defense Fund wrote, “billionaire George Soros has spent at least $50 million to elect scores of ’social justice’ prosecutors across the country. These district attorneys, who represent over 70 million people or more than 1 in 5 Americans, often pursue pro-criminal and anti-politics policies.”

Police can do all the arresting of criminals they like. If the local district attorney won’t prosecute, it’s all for nothing.

Well, the times, they are a’changin’.

From the Brennan Center: “As the 2026 election enters its final stretch, super PAC and dark money spending is breaking records, with hundreds of millions of dollars coming from big donors connected to the AI, crypto, finance and other industries looking to shape government policy. This midterm cycle has seen the biggest giving by any donor in modern history, with Elon Musk reportedly spending at least $366 million to elect Republicans. More than in any midterm since 2010’s Citizens United, the biggest donors are tilting toward one party — the GOP.”

Listen as the Democrats squawk.

When Soros does it, it’s because he’s a philanthropist. When Musk does it, he’s buying up politicians; stealing voters’ voices; destroying a nation. Suddenly, America needs a wealth tax.

In the end, what should matter most to the American citizen is not the level of money in politics, but the level of transparency that goes along with the money that’s given and received. Whether it’s Soros or Musk or someone else with deep pockets, it’s crucial to keep their financial donations easily tracked and easily visible.

After all, if voters aren’t informed on who’s influencing their elected leaders, then voters can’t hold the elected class accountable for their actions. That goes for Republicans and Democrats, both.
