Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is starting a podcast all about politics.

It’s called “High Stakes,” and on Tuesday she announced she’ll co-host the weekly limited series with journalist Kara Swisher.

“What you pay for groceries, rent, and healthcare is on the line,” Mrs. Clinton said about Nov. 3’s Election Day. “So I’m teaming up with Kara Swisher to dig into the issues that matter most before the country heads to the polls. The stakes have never been higher.”

The Wednesday show, which is an extra installment of the podcast “On With Kara Swisher,” is a project of Vox Media, which owns New York magazine.

Lupa Systems, owned by James Murdoch, a donor to the Clinton Foundation, completed its acquisition of the Vox Media Podcast Network in July.

Mrs. Clinton has been a frequent guest on Ms. Swisher’s podcast, where she has opined on national politics.

Jim Bankoff, the CEO of Vox Media, said in a statement, “I’m immensely proud to bring Secretary Clinton — a hero to millions who has had a profound impact making the world a better place — to Vox Media as she embarks on this next chapter of her media career.”

Mrs. Clinton has filled in for Scott Galloway as co-host on Ms. Swisher’s podcast “Pivot.”

“There’s a thing about the secretary, where it’s like, ’Oh, if you knew her in the room, she’s so funny,’” Ms. Swisher told The New York Times. “We’re going to try to show you that room.”

Now 78, Mrs. Clinton has worn many hats in her political career.

She first entered the spotlight through her marriage to Bill Clinton, who served as president after being governor of Arkansas.

Mrs. Clinton later represented New York in the Senate before serving as secretary of state under President Barack Obama.

In 2016, she lost the presidential election to Donald Trump, although she won the popular vote.
