Los Angeles Rams offensive lineman Alaric Jackson threw a punch at Buffalo Bills’ pass rusher Bradley Chubb following Monday night’s 37-34 overtime loss. The NFL did not immediately announce any punishment on Tuesday.

Footage from the post-game festivities showed Jackson standing near midfield while exchanging jerseys with Bills’ defender Deone Walker. Chubb appeared to say something to Jackson, who responded with a punch.

“It’s just emotions, you know what I mean? Emotional game. It was a close game,” Chubb told the California Post after the game. “And, you know, they always catch the second guy. So, I let him swing. And then my teammates held me back, and I just chilled.”

Chubb’s teammate, safety C.J. Gardner-Johnson, took to social media to call for the NFL to intervene.

“So what we gone do about dude hitting Chub,” he wrote on X.

League officials have previously issued suspensions to players who throw punches after games. Jackson, 28, has already been on the NFL’s radar for past transgressions. He was suspended for the first two games of the 2024 season for violating the league’s personal conduct policy.

A woman sued him prior to that season, claiming that he filmed her performing sexual acts without her consent.

This offseason, Jackson was arrested June 9 on suspicion of felony domestic violence after a confrontation with a woman at his home in the San Fernando Valley. His case was assigned for a prefiling diversion that likely allows him to avoid criminal charges, but the NFL has yet to announce a decision on possible league discipline.
