Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are planning to marry July 3, with a reception at Madison Square Garden in New York City, multiple news outlets report.
The pop superstar and the Kansas City Chiefs tight end planned to marry before Mr. Kelce’s NFL training camp begins July 22, ESPN’s Chiefs insider, Nate Taylor, reports.
While the wedding celebration will be held at Madison Square Garden, the couple is seeking a private moment separate from the public event for their ceremony, Reality Tea reports.
Photos of guests arriving at Ms. Swift’s $17.75 million oceanside estate in Watch Hill, Rhode Island, have fueled speculation about pre-wedding events before July 3, with TMZ obtaining photos.
The reception at the MSG arena, which has no windows looking into the main event space and features underground access, is expected to accommodate a guest list of roughly 1,200 people.
New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani appeared to confirm the reception during a press conference Monday, noting that it coincides with the July Fourth holiday and America 250 celebrations.
Ms. Swift and Mr. Kelce announced their engagement in August.
