California is a failed state. What an embarrassment the people who administer the state’s voting procedures are.

Vote counting, a process that should have been completed within 12 hours of the elections, is on its 10th day in a state that is home to high-tech Silicon Valley.

The nonsense of it all — mailing out ballots to each household and using mailbox drop-off points — is absurd. California operates like a banana republic.

Of course, an element of voting fraud always rears its ugly head with ballot harvesting, illegal-alien voting and claims of the destruction of ballots from Republican areas.

When a sudden surge of votes favoring Democrats begins cascading into vote-processing centers at the last minute in the early morning hours, as happened in the 2020 presidential election, it should be proof that the whole process is rigged.

Then again, what else is to be expected from Democrats?
