OPINION:
Democrats, we’re told, are up in arms, battling for control of the party, with Democratic Socialists for America socialists-slash-Marxists-slash-communists on one side, moderate entrenched career politicians on the other, and the hearts and souls and futures of the confused liberal masses front and center, being tugged first this way and then that way. Which way do they go? Which way do they go?
Thing is, it really doesn’t matter.
Democrats haven’t been democratic in more than a decade. They’ve just been pretending at it. They’ve just been lying about it.
What is a democratic socialist versus a progressive? What is the primary difference between a democrat and a socialist? And if socialism is just the softer and slower sister to communism — and it is — then really, what’s the difference between a democrat and a communist?
‘Cause a look at the various parties’ printed and publicized platforms doesn’t really clarify. They’re largely one and the same.
That means Democrats have been disguising their socialist slant for years, masquerading as compassionate and caring while simultaneously campaigning to take from Peter to give to Paul. If only they had campaigned honestly — by explaining that American workers and taxpayers are the Peters and illegal immigrants and willful addicts and lazy slackers are the Pauls — well then, voters straddling the dueling parties’ fence might not be so eager to pick the candidates whose service would best be described as government-sanctioned thief. So Democrats have been lying to voters about their political beliefs.
Democrats have been telling voters that they’re not socialist — they’re progressive. Or they’ve been mocking those who’ve called them communists by snickering that they’re not communists because they don’t want to take control of the means of production and distribution — they only want to ensure a fair outcome for all; they only want an equitable solution; they only want everyone to have the same chance as the billionaires. And then they decry the billionaires and say it’s immoral for one person to have so much and therefore, a moral government is one that would redistribute that wealth more fairly. More equitably.
Lies.
All socialists, at root, share this trait: They lie. They are liars.
If the people knew the Democrats have been for a very long time socialists in their platforms and beliefs and policies, Democrats wouldn’t have been so easily elected. There wouldn’t be quite so many in public office.
So Democrats have lied and disguised their socialism as progressivism, and democratic socialism, and sworn to high heaven their ideas of tax-funded healthcare for all, and tax-funded childcare, and tax-funded grocers, and tax-funded college, and tax-funded transportation, and tax-funded fill-in-the-blank — that all these tax-funded programs were free, free, free. They’ve lied and told their masses that Democrats were compassionate, and Republicans, big meanies, and MAGAs, the biggest meanies of all — the tyrannical, authoritarian, despotic meanies of the bunch.
They lied. They lie and continue to lie.
Nothing in life is free.
Democrats know that.
So when they join forces with the socialists and the DSA and the Marxists and the communists — the Antifa types, the Stand Up, Don’t Shoot and Black Lives Matter types, the defund the police and abolish ICE types — they do so with full knowledge of the wickedness they are embracing.
“War erupts on far left as DSA endorses challenger against sitting House progressive,” Fox News reported.
What’s the difference between a DSA-endorsed Democrat, a progressive Democrat and a Democrat?
Nothing.
But voters aren’t supposed to notice that. Not yet. Not until all the communists have come to power in the political offices that matter most — and then, and only then, will Democrats tell the truth. That’s when the Democrats who’ve been curiously quiet all the years of the socialist infiltration and takeover of their party will find themselves sidelined, powerless, removed from office and replaced by open communists — and that’s when these Democrats will suddenly find their voice to speak out and condemn the far leftists.
“Van Jones warns far-left socialist agenda is ‘regressive’ threat to Democratic Party,” Fox News wrote in one headline.
Funny, but Van Jones didn’t seem to mind the far-leftist socialist agenda when it was being pushed by Barack Obama’s presidency. Van Jones didn’t seem to mind the lies of that administration.
It’s not a sudden realization of a sudden infiltration of far-leftism that’s shaking the Democrat Party’s faithful right now. It’s a dawning fear that in this new world of communist control of their party’s base, that they’re no longer needed.
