British singer Ellie Goulding has filed a lawsuit in the United Kingdom against her former managers, citing breach of fiduciary duty, news outlets report.

Ms. Goulding filed the claim on July 24 against Ben Mawson and Ed Millett of TaP Management and the firm’s parent company, HNOE Limited, according to court records reviewed by Billboard. Mr. Mawson and Mr. Millett managed the singer from 2018 through 2025, taking a 20% commission.

Ms. Goulding alleges that events promotion firm Live Nation acquired a 50.1% stake in TaP’s parent company in 2015 and bought out the rest of the firm in 2019, and that her managers never disclosed the ownership stake to her.

During their tenure, Ms. Goulding signed deals with Live Nation for touring, merchandise and a documentary film. She claims her managers were contractually barred from steering artists away from doing business with Live Nation, creating a conflict of interest with her own commercial interests.

Her lawsuit seeks equitable compensation and damages for the alleged breach of fiduciary duty, along with other entitlements.
