OPINION:
We live in a puzzling world.
In five weeks, the U.S. and Israel obliterated Iran’s military and decapitated its leadership, yet all we hear from Democrats, hate-filled people on the right and the mainstream media is how Iran is winning and the U.S. is losing.
Even the pope has joined the anti-U.S. chorus, very concerned, says he, about this war. Yet he is apparently not so concerned about, oh, I don’t know, the Russia-Ukraine war, the India-Pakistan war, the slaughter by Muslims of Christians in Nigeria and, oh, yes, the fact that Iran recently murdered 30,000 to 40,000 of its own unarmed citizens.
What, pray tell, is the common denominator of all this opposition? Trump derangement syndrome, that’s what.
Under President Trump’s courageous leadership — the likes of which I have not seen in a president in all my 80 years — the U.S. is finally taking action against Iran and its very dangerous nuclear threat.
Iran already has an intercontinental ballistic missile with a 2,500-mile range, though it has denied having it. How long before it could have sent a nuke to the U.S.? Not anymore.
Yet all we see and hear from the majority of Democrats, the legacy news outlets and their ilk around the world is that Mr. Trump is wrong and he is the problem. That’s insanity, and it’s very dangerous.
