OPINION:
We are facing some very dangerous situations because of left-wing politics.
The Southern District of New York has rightfully indicted Sen. Robert Menendez of New Jersey, but it has had the evidence to do so for more than a year and a half.
Why did it wait? While it it did, Mr. Menendez retained chairmanship of the important Senate Foreign Affairs Committee. Elected officials on the left and right are calling for him to resign.
Meanwhile, our president also appears to have been paid bribes to influence our foreign policy. Yet voices on the left, both in politics and the mainstream media, not only fail to call for his resignation, but are fighting rigidly against the abundant evidence showing that when he was vice president, President Biden matched (and I dare say even exceeded) Mr. Menendez’s treason, dollar for dollar.
This week, that same president walked the picket line of a striking union to encourage the strikers in their battle against the auto industry — instead of using his office to try to bring the two sides together.
This is a strike that can do nothing but hurt our economy, yet Mr. Biden is supporting it, along with other voices on the left.
Does this make sense to anyone, even Democrats? The support for this president clearly supersedes the support for our country, something I simply cannot understand.
