OPINION:
“Biden administration waives 26 federal laws to allow border wall construction in South Texas” (web, Oct. 5).
Yes, you read that headline right. Don’t laugh; it’s a tacit, embarrassing admission of truth from an endless source of lies.
Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas may have been prompted to act by a fact or two. For example, perhaps he’s learned that there are now enough new voters thanks to lax border policies to assure the Democrats one-party rule.
But what if the immigrants now ask themselves whether coming here was a good idea? I speak Spanish, and I hear many people asking themselves what ever made them come.
Alternatively, could this jaw-dropping call to resume building former President Donald Trump’s wall mean the Democrats’ polling shows that some immigrants prefer the GOP? Those here legally have been trending that way for years.
As always with the political left, pay attention to what they do, not what they say. And whatever they say, you can safely bet it dissembles what they’re up to. They’re at war against us, and that’s what assault forces do.
