Rep. Jamaal Bowman recently said he was “unaware of a memo from his office calling GOP lawmakers ’Nazis’ in response to Republican scrutiny over the New York Democrat pulling a fire alarm in a House office building” (“Rep. Jamaal Bowman claims he was not involved in office’s advice to Dems to call Republicans ’Nazis,’” web, Oct. 2).

He added that the incident constituted an “inappropriate use of the term Nazi.”

I have two questions for Mr. Bowman: First, what is an appropriate use of “Nazi” when referring to the GOP? Second (and I wonder this same thing about the Biden White House), who is running your staff? Is it you, or someone else?

This all seems like third grade antics.
