OPINION:
In the last presidential debate, I’d been hoping to see a clear alternative to former President Donald Trump in the event he gets out of the running and I have to vote for someone else.
Much to my dismay, however, all I saw was a bunch of disrespectful, childish wannabe presidents hollering over one another.
A second recent letdown was watching six hours of the GOP inquiry seeking evidence to impeach President Biden. Not one Democrat wanted to hear the evidence, choosing instead to browbeat the three experts the Republicans had called in. The younger Democrats were the most vicious, ignoring all evidence put forth as they spewed their false rhetoric.
These so-called representatives of the people read off their prewritten objections, calling the hearing a shame before the evidence was even out. That alone should tell you that no matter what was said, they weren’t going to be fair or honest in their representation of the people.
Both parties are failing to consider the way they appear to our enemies. As a former Marine squad leader in Vietnam, I can tell you that if I were to take over a country, I would start just like this — by invading it little by little, building up my forces while the country’s leaders were distracted with fighting each other.
It’s been reported that millions of illegal migrants, many of whom are terrorists, have infiltrated our country thanks to Mr. Biden. They are not here to have a better life; they are here to take our lives.
If you think the riots by Black Lives Matter and antifa were bad, just wait and see what an organized force will do when they are an army.
