Some had faith that the heralded and long-awaited Durham report would bring to light the criminal activities of Hillary Clinton, the FBI, the CIA, the Justice Department, mainstream media, Democrats in general and all the rest who intentionally sabotaged an election and then tried to overthrow an elected American president (“Durham’s final report blasts FBI’s handling of Trump-Russia probe but doesn’t recommend new charges,” web, May 15).

The information could have been kept secret and locked away for 50 ears or redacted beyond comprehension if those in power thought it necessary for their survival.

But it’s out now — all 306 pages — and though Americans are watching for some evidence of interest by authority figures or media platforms, they are also watching for a shred of accountability for all those involved in the political crime of our lifetimes.

If Washington turns the page with indifference, Americans will get their answer as to the state of the union and condition of our justice system.
