OPINION:
Instead of focusing on the economy, inflation, the high price of gas and the crisis at the border, Democrats have focused all of their attention on ’getting’ former President Donald Trump (“Rep. Nancy Mace: Second indictment secures Trump’s GOP nomination,” web, June 9).
Because Mr. Trump is running against President Biden next year, he poses a genuine threat. So the Democrats are doing what they do best, which is trying to destroy anyone who stands in the way of their bizarre Marxist agenda.
In the meantime, I relish the day when Mr. Biden is impeached and stands trial for his dereliction of duty, as well as the many classified documents in his possession. Not only was his withdrawal from Afghanistan a debacle, but his open-border policy is putting the safety and welfare of our great nation at risk. And look at all the millions of dollars it’s costing to house and feed illegal immigrants — many of whom are criminals. Yes, indeed, the best is yet to come.
