A monument to failure

OPINION:

Much like his administration in general, President Biden’s recent visit to the southern border was an abject farce (“Biden is a huge blessing for the cartels,” Web, Jan. 9). Swept from view of the cameras was the diurnal and deadly surge of illegal immigrants with its attendant squalor, disease, crime, fentanyl, rape, human trafficking, etc.

From this clown prince of a president to his court jester of a vice president and his train wreck of a Cabinet, this administration is a monument to ineptitude and failure. Joining them in the ongoing catastrophe is virtually every member of the Democratic congressional delegation, who utter not a word of criticism as the drug cartels make a mockery of our country and laws.

Their wanton, unprecedented and malefic dereliction of their constitutional duty places the entire country at unnecessary risk — all for the sake of a deleterious left-wing ideology. The blood of so many innocents is on their hands.
