The only way to stop the surging Washington Wizards is to postpone one of their games, apparently.

The NBA announced that Wednesday’s game between the Wizards and the Detroit Pistons will be rescheduled because of ongoing travel issues with Detroit. The makeup date for the contest will be announced at a later time, the league said in a statement.

“Due to severe weather conditions in the Dallas area, the Pistons have been unable to fly back to Detroit after their game on Monday at American Airlines Center,” the league said.

The Pistons played the Mavericks on Monday. The Dallas area has been hit with heavy ice storms, leading to the cancelation of hundreds of flights. The New Orleans Pelicans are scheduled to play in Dallas on Thursday, though the Pelicans reportedly remain in Dallas after playing the Nuggets on Tuesday.

The Wizards, who hold the NBA’s longest active win streak at six games, are scheduled to host Portland on Friday and play in Brooklyn on Saturday.
