OPINION:
It will be interesting to see the outcome of the coming presidential election if the Republican office-seeker dwells on the peachy economy we had under former President Donald Trump and on other matters but makes no mention of abortion.
Roe v. Wade has been overturned by the Supreme Court, which held that the matter was not one for the federal government to decide.
I’m not a lawyer, but it appears that the decision of the majority of the highest court in the land places the abortion matter within the jurisdiction of the 10th Amendment of the U.S. Constitution: “The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.”
