Washington coach Ron Rivera is always scouting.
When he saw the video of the Washington fan who went viral during Monday night’s game against Seattle, he was impressed with his form when he pushed away Seahawks tight end Gerald Everett from jumping into the stands.

Rivera was also complimentary of the energy in the stadium during the fourth quarter. While the stadium was nowhere near full, it did get loud multiple times as Russell Wilson tried to lead the Seahawks downfield.
At the very least, the energy got the second-year coach pumped up, and he showed it walking off the field after the 17-15 win.
“That felt like a packed house because of the energy, and that’s what got me fired up,” Rivera said. “I mean, the energy was there. I think that’s something that this team seems to thrive off of too.”
