LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) - A Lincoln man who recorded molestation of young male boys at a child care center where he worked pleaded guilty Monday to first-degree sexual assault and third-degree aggravated assault.
Prosecutors said Titus Miller, 27, victimized boys between the ages of 5 and 7.
Deputy Lancaster County Attorney Amy Goodro said the first-degree sexual assault of a child charge involved two victims and the third-degree aggravated charge involved four victims, The Lincoln Journal-Star reported.
Investigators found thousands of images and videos of child pornography on Miller’s phone when they searched his home on Oct. 22, 2019. Many of the images were taken at Playful Painters Child Care, where Miller was night supervisor.
Miller was arrested after he sent some of the videos to a man who was arrested in Alabama, then to FBI agents working undercover.
At his sentencing in April, he will face 15 years to life imprisonment.
In October, Senior U.S. District Judge Richard Kopf sentenced Miller to 20 years on each of five related federal charges, to be served consecutively, for a total of 100 years.
