COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) - No one will be charged in the shooting deaths of three men in South Carolina because they all shot at each other when a drug deal turned into a robbery, investigators said.
Two of the men died by the time deputies arrived Sunday at the Columbia apartment complex and a third died at the hospital, Richland County Sheriff Leon Lott said.
Deputies don’t think anyone else was involved in the shooting or the drug deal, Lott said.
The three people killed were Jaquan Boatwright, of Orangeburg; Raekwon Malone, of Columbia; and Khorrey Jones, of Columbia, the Richland County Coroner’s Office said.
