Minutes after he was impeached for the second time, President Trump awarded the National Medal of Arts to country singer Toby Keith and bluegrass singer Ricky Skaggs at the White House.
The Oval Office ceremony was closed to the press, and the White House didn’t announce it in advance, according to Bloomberg and NBC News.
