The Washington Capitals on Thursday released their 2022 canine calendar, featuring nearly two dozen players and, more importantly, a bunch of good boys and girls.

The calendars are $20 and all proceeds are going to the Wolf Trap Animal Rescue and the Monumental Sports & Entertainment Foundation.

Posing with their own dogs are Washington players John Carlson, Nic Dowd, Lars Eller, Garnet Hathaway, Nick Jensen, Anthony Mantha, T.J. Oshie, Alex Ovechkin, Conor Sheary, Justin Schultz, Trevor van Riemsdyk and Tom Wilson.

Nicklas Backstrom poses with team dog Biscuit in the calendar, while teammates Dennis Cholowski, Martin Fehervary, Carl Hagelin, Matt Irwin, Evgeny Kuznetsov, Hendrix Lapierre, Connor McMichael, Dmitry Orlov, Ilya Samsonov, Daniel Sprong and Vitek Vanecek are shown with dogs from the Wolf Trap Animal Rescue.

WTAR is a nonprofit that rescues homeless puppies and kittens from Mississippi and finds homes for them in Northern Virginia.

The calendars can be purchased at washcaps.com/caninecalendars.com as well as at Capital One Arena.
