The Washington Football Team will be missing a key member of its secondary in Sunday’s game against the Arizona Cardinals.
Cornerback Kendall Fuller is inactive with a knee injury for the second straight week, the team announced. Fuller was previously listed as questionable, but was limited in Friday’s practice.
Fuller’s loss is a significant blow to Washington’s defense. While it withstood his absence last week against the Philadelphia Eagles, the Cardinals have a talented group of playmakers, including All-Pro receiver DeAndre Hopkins.
In a bit of good news for the team, linebacker Thomas Davis is active after missing Week 1 with a calf injury.
Here’s who else is inactive for Washington:
- quarterback Alex Smith
- tackle Saahdiq Charles
- tackle David Sharpe
- wide receiver Isaiah Wright
- running back Bryce Love
- linebacker Cole Holcomb (knee)
