The Washington Nationals won’t be the only Major League Baseball team taking the weekend off.

The Philadelphia Phillies and Toronto Blue Jays will not play their scheduled series this weekend after a Phillies coach and a clubhouse attendant came down with COVID-19.

The Phillies have been cautious and stayed off the field since Sunday, when they played against the Miami Marlins, who have had a COVID-19 outbreak that’s infected more than half their traveling party.

The Marlins’ schedule was suspended for a week, meaning no Marlins-Nationals series in Miami this weekend. Now Phillies-Blue Jays can be added to that list.

The Phillies said that none of their players have tested positive for the coronavirus to this point, but they canceled all team activities at their ballpark for Thursday and “until further notice.”
