CHARLESTON, W.Va. (AP) - The West Virginia State Police on Thursday said a man has been arrested in connection with a stolen police Humvee.

The department said the vehicle had been in Charleston for repairs when it went missing and was later found in the Campbell’s Creek area.

Matthew Lee Loggins, 28, was arrested and charged with grand larceny. State records show he was jailed on a $10,000 bond. His public defender attorney could not immediately be reached for comment.



Police are still investigating.
