In an interview with Westwood One radio, Tom Brady hinted that he would be comfortable considering playing for a team other than the New England Patriots in 2020.
“At the same time, I love playing football and I want to continue to play and do a great job,” he said. “So I’m looking forward to what’s ahead. Whatever the future may bring, I’ll embrace it with open arms.”
Since the Patriots were eliminated by the Tennessee Titans in the wild card round of the AFC playoffs, Brady said he’s spent time with his family to decompress after the season.
The six-time Super Bowl champ has spent his entire NFL career with the Patriots, but now he faces free agency for the first time in his career. Brady, 42, can’t be assigned the franchise tag per his agreement with New England.
