Ron Rivera’s coaching staff is now complete.
The Washington Redskins announced the hiring of 16 coaches. All but five worked with Rivera previously in Carolina.
Of the notable hires, Ken Zampese was named quarterbacks coach. He served in that same role with the Cleveland Browns in 2018 and was the Bengals’ offensive coordinator in 2016 and 2017. The Redskins pursued Zampese last offseason, but hired Tim Rattay for the position instead.
Running backs coach Randy Jordan was also retained. Jordan has been with the Redskins since 2014. He and special teams coordinator Nate Kaczor are the only holdovers from Jay Gruden’s staff.
