Washington’s upcoming game Sunday against the Carolina Panthers will now be held at 4:05 p.m. after the NFL flexed the matchup to the late afternoon window.

Washington-Carolina was originally set to take place at 1 p.m. The league, however, announced the change Tuesday.

As a result of the move, Washington will likely know if it can clinch the NFC East with a win by the time Sunday’s game kicks off.

To win the division, Washington needs to win and for the New York Giants (5-8) to loss to the Baltimore Ravens. Originally, the Giants’ game against the Ravens was supposed to take place at the same time as Washington-Carolina at 1 p.m.

But with Tuesday’s scheduling shift, the Giants-Ravens matchup will likely be wrapped by the time Washington-Carolina begins.
