Friends, it’s great to be with you today, united in the effort to support a free Iran. We need an Iran that supports the Iranian people, not one that supports the initiatives of tyrants, of radical Islam, and of clerics who don’t value human rights or the dignity of human beings.

We need an Iran that is brought into a position of better behavior. That is why I have supported sanctions against the current oppressive regime for violations of human rights, their export of international terrorism and their development of a ballistic missile system designed to terrorize its neighbors and even one day Americans. I will continue to fight with all of you for a free and independent Iran, ruled not by radical Islamic terrorists, but instead by the people of Iran.
