2 year-old boy dies after fall from 6th floor window

NEW YORK (AP) - Authorities say a 2-year-old boy has died after a fall from a window.

Fire Department of New York officials say a call came in shortly after 11 a.m. Monday that a child had fallen from the sixth floor window at the building on Eldert Lane in Brooklyn.

Emergency responders found him unconscious and unresponsive and he was taken to the hospital.

The New York Police Department says that’s where he was later pronounced dead.

The NYPD has not yet released the boy’s name.
