ESPN anchor Scott Van Pelt tore into Redskins owner Dan Snyder and team president Bruce Allen late Monday in a four-minute segment on “SportsCenter” — blasting the franchise for its “systemic collapse.”
Reacting to the firing of coach Jay Gruden, Van Pelt ripped into Allen for saying the team had a “damn good culture.”
He noted how FedEx Field has become “co-opted by rival fanbases like an 82,000-seat banquet hall, available for weddings, birthdays, bar mitzvahs or NFL games.”
