Elena Delle Donne will start for the Washington Mystics in Game 3 of the WNBA Finals after missing most of Game 2 with a small disc herniation in her back.
Delle Donne was listed as questionable. Coach Mike Thibault said the Mystics were preparing as if she would miss the game, but Connecticut Sun coach Curt Miller had his team prepare as if she’d play.
Ariel Atkins, who also hurt her back between Games 2 and 3 picking something up in her apartment, is also in the starting lineup.

The series is tied 1-1. Game 3 tips off at 3:30 at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut.
